Big Island North

Big island is a prosperous land, full of tourists, warm weather, revealing clothing, and a generally relaxing time. The native fruits that grow here are renowned for their psychedelic side effects, and the native people here are calm and easygoing. They are the Garrose, a monkey-like race, having five prehensile limbs. their tails are long, extending out into a hand-like appendage at the tip of them. In their off time, they usually can be seen surfing from the shoreline, or sleeping in one of the several hammocks lined up throughout the island. Shift by shift of them leave daily to swim across to Little Island, where they work. Big Island is very accommodating, huts scattered all over with lodging and food.

A dark vortex appeared behind one of the huts, out of sight of the residents. It sat for several hours before a boy of 15 stumbled out of it, surrounded by a strange glow as the strange portal closed behind him. The glowing dissipated as quickly as the vortex did, and the boy looked around at his new surroundings. "Huh. Could have sworn I was in the forest." Shrugging, Jiiro stepped around the hut he was standing near to see the village he had arrived in and stopped in shock at the image of its inhabitants before him. He knew immediately that he wasn't in Tokyo any longer. Confused beyond belief, all he could do was whisper a single sentence beneath his breath, "What the hell is going on?"

Rush Vailiencette sat in a folded chair on the beach, umbrella over him, pleasantly enjoying his impromptu vacation. He was here to find a monkey about a fruit, that was true, but there was no issue about taking his time to do so... He would still get paid.

He chuckled, sipping gently on a martini. This was the life.

The life that was abruptly ruined by some brat being incredibly vocal about his confusion.

"Shut the hell up, kid, I'm havin' a great day here!"

Rush groaned. As much as he was enjoying his break, it was about time for him to go see the monkey.

Maybe he'd have a word with that damn kid too, if he could find him.
