The village sits, almost untouched, in true oriental calm. rice-mat walls and bridges adorn the island, a forge for smithing and a rice paddy, along with a river that runs through the center. Visitors don't often approach this island, and when they do, they are greeted with hospitality but also asked to leave as quickly as possible. Honor reigns supreme here, so outside ideas are very controversial.

Tatsuo was sleeping in the corner of one of the main dojos, though he was sitting up with one hand clenched tightly around the hilt of his katana. His eyes were twitching and his face was distorted slightly, almost like he was having a bad dream, which he was. Within this dream he saw a grey transparent dragon writhing in pain, trying to break free to what seemed like an invisible cage. He also saw that there was a glowing around the dragon. Soon came a large fury of fire, as it spiraled all around the dragon like twisted ring. Was this the cage that held this dragon captive? Was it suppose to be good that this dragon was not set free? Nobody knew and then Tatsuo's eyes shot open, his face drenched in sweat and he looked out at the dojo and it was quiet. When his eyes were open he noticed he had already drawn his sword and was set into an offensive stance, his eyes very shifty. Slowly he sheathed his sword, taking his sleeve and wiping the sweat off from his brow. What did this mean...? He thought.

"Not...again..."

He closed his eyes again tightly, aggitated that his mind could be so weak to have nightmares.

"I might as well at least look around for something to eat. I guess I'll get going."

He stood up and slid the door across and there he saw his beautiful village, and people who were always so humble to each other. He jumped down from the dojo, and closed the door behind him, stepping off to start his day and whatever journey's that may, and will approach him soon.

Tatsuya snored.

He snored loudly, and for hours.

It was almost noon when he woke up, looking at the door which had slid open, and the annoyed figure beholding him at the entrance to their house.

He reached for his glasses, assembling them onto his partially closed eyes, and pulled his walking stick up into his hand.

The world got less fuzzy.

Tatsuo walked through the village and towards a small restaurant a head. It was bustling with happy customers, and thrown in a few drunks arguing with some geisha. It seemed like the place to be, no matter who you were. Tatsuo found a little place a bit away from everyone else and placed his sword next to him and he raised his hand slightly for a waitress. Shortly after one arrived by him.

"Oh hello Tatsuo, the usual?"

He only nodded slightly and wiped his eyes and the waitress left to get whatever the order was. There was already warm tea on the small table where he sat, and he poured the tea into his cop and sat there looking around at the crowd. Though he seemed like the blacksheep of his village, he did enjoy the positive energy from the people who resided here.

"What's happening?" He looked up groggily.

The figure came into clarity before his eyes, an elder from the village.

"You should have been up hours ago, chopping wood! What do I pay you for?"

Tatsuya blinked, and then put a hand on his face. "Ah, crap, I forgot! Sorry! It won't happen again! I promise!"

He ate quietly at the table as he then noticed that there were a few people from tables who took notice of his presence. Uncomfortable looks were shined his way, and Tatsuo was feeling the same feeling. He didn't like that fact he was a black sheep, but he was truly only staying in the village because it was all he knew was home, and his brother Tatsuya was very important to him.

"Just because I'm not one of the blessed ones, does not mean one has to like at me like I am a demon..."

He aggressively stood, banging his katana hilt into the floor that would surely make them jump. He adjusted his yukata after finishing his meal and bowing to the waitress, and leaving the bill with a handsome tip. He didn't usually stay in these restaurants to long for the fact he wasn't welcomed many places.

Tatsuya looked at the wood carefully, wondering how to take it.

"Excuse me, sir? Could you please show me how to cut this? Just once will work."

The elder looked at him strangely.

"You can't cut wood?"

"Er... That is... I've never tried before..."

The elder took a hatchet from the ground.

"Alright, you lazy child, I'll teach you how to cut, then. First, you raise it like this..."

Tatsuo sighed, walking back towards his home and he heard a very familiar voice and some grumpy older man, as he turned the corner he realized it was his brother, always doing chores. He then rounded the corner and leaned against the wall watching, only waiting for him to do the chores that were given to him. He was also watching because he wanted to make sure he was doing them right, like a brother watching over his younger one, though something was strikingly similar about the two. Same height, and were for the most part identical. Here a stranger would realize they were undeniably, twins. Though strangers didn't quite stay at the village often, and if they did, not for a long time.

Tatsuya sighed, completely oblivious, continuing to cut wood.

"Y'know, it'd be really nice if Tatsuo was here... He'd probably be able to help cut all this..."

He groaned.

"But I guess if I don't work, the bills don't get paid anyways."

The old man had just wandered off, grumbling about how lazy kids were these days, and Tatsuo chuckled a little bit at the thought of him.

"Odaisu's so old... I wonder if he'll ever die."
