Escher's Maze

Stopping again Adara tapped her foot, waited and started to walk again. after a few minutes of silence Adara stopped and turned to John.
"Here you are. Your way out." She said motioning to the exit.

Leon had followed Adara into the maze but he stopped for a moment because he thought he stepped on something and all it took was that second for him to lose Adara."Greaaaaaaaaat. Alright Leon you just lost her and you yerself are lost. Ah well time to go looking. Leon walked through the maze taking a different direction every time before eventually stopping because he was thoroughly lost."Hmmm... there has to be some way for me to find her. Wait... . I'm a fucking mutant. Specifically I have some telepathic abilities. I just hope she's close enough to hear me." Leon closed his eyes slowly and concentrated. They shot open and were glowing with a deep electric blue. He called out to Adara's mind with his own hoping she was close enough to hear him. "Adara... It's Leon. I stopped for a moment and lost you. If you can hear this I'm speaking to yer mind. I'm completely lost. Here is where I am." Leon tried his hardest to project an image of his location to Adara so she could hopefully guide him, or just come get him.

Adara tilted her head in confusion as she heard Leon speak in her mind. Upon seeing in her mind where he was she followed it with her mind back to her location. Can you hear me aswell Leon? Adara tried to think to him. She couldn't send thoughts like he could but maybe if he can send them he can recieve them as well.

John looked at her.

"Is everything alright?"

Turning to john she said, "It's Leon. He's talking to me through my mind. He got lost." She chuckled.

John looked up at her.

"He's the guy that rode up in the explosion, right?"

"Yes he is. He entered the maze with me but I guess wasn't paying attention and got lost. I can tell you where he is if you wish to go and get him." She replied looking back down the maze and tapping her foot.

"I can try, if you want me to."

He'd do it for Adara, but John was a little skeptical of going and getting lost again.

Smiling Adara said, "Alright. Go down this path and take the first right. Then take the second left. He should be right there, in that pathway."

"First right, second left."

John nodded, and started to walk cautiously.

Adara leaned against the wall of the entrance and waited for John and LEon to arrive.

Leon heard Adara's thoughts in his head and smiled abit. "Well I'm glad I was right about you. Only someone with a strong enough mind can respond to me. So uhm, where are you? Or should I just stay right here?"

"Leon?"

John moved towards him.

"Are you around? I'm gettin' a little uneasy..."

Stay where you are. Adara thought to Leon. John is on his way to get you. Try calling out so he find you easier.

"Ok I'll try" Leon looked around for a moment and decided to just yell."John! I'm over here!"

John heard Leon, and moved in.

"Come toward me!"

Adara ran her hand over hte wall and suddenly became nervous about leaving. Puasing for a moment she shook her head, "No. It will be all right. People do have good hearts. I believe in that." Adara turned to where John had left and waited for them to return.

Leon started moving towards Johns voice."Hey, keep talking!"

John stuttered.

"Uh, what should I say?"

Leon continued walking to where he last heard johns voice."John?! You still there?!"

"Well, I haven't moved! I'm right here!" John looked around, worried that the maze might somehow be shifting around him, unbeknownst to anyone else.

Leons eyes picked up on John and he sighed."Hey, right behind ya pal. Man I practically blinked and everyone was gone. Tell me you remember how to get back to Adara."

He turned around, and took a right with strong hesitation.

"Well, fuck, not like you put the pressure on or anything..."

"Uh, yeah, sorry about that. So, what exactly are you doing here?"

Adara tapped her foot, wondering what was taking so long.
Ah, good. They are together now.
