The Fortress Grounds

Svul brought Blake charging back to life, giving him his high and then instantly stabilizing him.

This would, of course, distort Blake's sense of time, sending him reeling farther than he was.

"Let's see how you come back from that. I'm leaving... I have the blood of an angel to drink."

He left Blake with the grin of a crocodile.

Blake laid on the ground for a few minutes with his eyes wide and pupils fully dialated. He tried to process what had just happened.
I....I am a girl....NO! Just in physical, I may be a girl but here i'm still a boy. And where the hell did I go? Was that heaven? But I didn't see dad. There was a girl there. She brought me....places. GOD DAMMIT! I can't even wrap my mind around this?! What the hell just happened?!?!
All thought for Blake stopped and he remained in silence both in the world and in mind. After a few moments he started to luagh histarically while tears flowed from his eyes.

"Heh, shit, the little Zephiel's left by now... I'd better catch up."

[Exit Bloodhounds, Enter Ashita Academy.]

Taking a few deep breaths Blake tried to steady himself. But every time he calmed down it would only last a few seconds before the luaghing and crying started up again. By this point Blake was still lieing on his back in his heavily blood stained clothes and his once again ripped shirt.

Christopher Chamberlain heard crying amidst laughter.

He also saw lots of blood.

He was very confused, and he noticed several operatives dead.

This was a problem, but not emotionally. He had been trained to distance himself from anything that would have meant something.

And so he converged on the person lying on the ground, gently picking him up and moving him to a containment chamber.

He sat, preparing some tea and chaining the boy to the chair, waiting for him to regain his composure so he could interrogate.

Blake did not even care that he was being lifted and carried somewhere. He couldn't get a hold of himself. This was rediculous!

As the man who had picked him up chained Blake to a chair the gravity if the situation started to sink in and pushed composer back into Blake. He was able to stop the luaghing and crying but until he was able to truely sort out what he had experienced, there seems to be something of Blake lacking. It's hard to say exactly what but for those who know him, and maybe for those that don't, something will seem very off.

"Would you like some tea?" Gunlock asked Blake the question politely.

Looking at the tea and then back to the man and then to the chains and then back to the tea Blake said blandly, "I don't think I could exactly drink it if you gave me some."

Gunlock nodded.

"Fair enough. I hope you understand that I had to chain you to the chair. You see, you're not exactly predictable. I came back from an errand to find that my home was covered in the blood of my comrades and you were the only one here, laughing and crying. I'm not sure what you're capable of."

"That's understandable." said Blake as he looked at his captor with blank eyes that seemed to be swimming. He thinks I could have done this. Might be better if he does.
"I may have done the same thing."

"So, would you mind telling me exactly what caused this..." he searched for the word. Mindfuck wasn't right, but it certainly was the first thing to come to mind... "Predicament?"

"A friend was captured here. I freed him. Now he's gone." Technically he wasn't lieing but he may have left out a few details. Blake's eyes grew wide for a moment as his composure slipped but he was able to retain it again.

"Well, firstly, who was the friend?"

Gunlock sat calmly.

Blake looked him in the eyes then looked off to the side. Blake didn't understand the full situation of what had happened but no way was he going to just reveal anything.
Blake (tried to anyway) shrug listlessly and said "Forgot his name. My memory sucks. I don't remember what you said your name is?"

"Well, I guess we'll see what you remember."

Gunlock smiled, and pointed his pistol at Blake's foot.

"Try again?"

Blake looked at the gun pointed at his feet and back to the man who captured him. Then he thought of Svul and his teacher and all things he has no clue about and yet somehoe he was now in the middle of it. He looked into this man's eyes and could tell he would shoot him. It's bound to happen sooner or later at this place...Blake thought tentatively as he tensed. I'ld still rather not have Svulkaine on my ass about this. I can't give in right away...."

"All I want to know is the name of the man who's about to shoot me."

"You're in no position to be asking requests."

Gunlock chuckled, and handed Blake a knife.

"You're going to need this."

He paced.

"You see, the bullets I just bought release nanomachines when they come in contact with blood. These nanomachines inject hemoglobin into the blood, coagulating it almost instantly. Because of that, It will stop flowing in your body. For the record, the nanomachines also spread rapidly through your bloodstream. Hence, you control when they stop. You're going to become your own amputee, unless you'd like to die."

He smiled calmly.

"Would you like to rethink your answer?"

Blake looked him in the eyes and thought about what he should do. I can't do anything if I loose my leg. Which is what will happen. But to give away info so easily. I'll do my best to withhold information. But I don't want Svulkaine after me. He can control my body whenever he wants. DAMNIT!!! Think fast!!
.....I have to."
"His name is Mr. Vettis. I don;t know his first name. He was my teacher." Blake said quietly.

"Alright. And you waltzed in here by yourself, or had help?"

Gunlock sat back down, no longer needing to be insistent.

"I had help...." said Blake very slowly.
damn it!!!

"There's no need to withhold information. Tell me everything you know, for now I know you know exactly what I need."

He had won this chess game.

"I think you're giving me too much credit." Said Blake plainly. Which was true cause Blake really didn't know much of anything.

"Tell me what you know, and if I deem it appropriate I won't shoot you."

He was getting annoyed.

Blake sighed and said one word. One name that could mean his eventual death. He had no idea at this point and quite frankly. He was close to not caring what happened to him anymore.
"Svulkaine."

Chris nodded.

"Small world... Which way did he leave?"
