The Fortress Grounds

Angry Blake said, "I didn't want to! I just can not face him after what happened! Besides," said Blake sighing, "this is a pattern for us."

"If he's really your best friend, I'm sure you can face him no matter what you guys go through... I have faced my best friend after doing some things that no man should ever have done, and he's forgiven me." He chuckled. "That bastard."

Snapping out of his nostalgia, he grinned.

"And if it's a pattern, you should break it. I mean, has he ever done it to you?"

If he has, I'm gonna beat that out of him, he thought.

Looking away Blake said quietly, "He kissed me. Then found out I was a girl after that by touching me. Then said he would protect me."

"And you're upset by that? Way I see it, you've found yourself a cute boyfriend. He knows you at your best and worst, knows your deepest secret, and he still wants to protect you above anything else. Marvel to think I raised that kid, what the hell have I been teaching him?" He shook his head. "Acts like his mother, I say."

He put Blake down, wondering if he'd regain composure.

"You know, he's not stupid. And if you ever have a problem with him, you come see me and I'll smack him back into line." He grinned.

Shaking his head Blake tried standing and the dizziness was gone for the most part and started to walk away. All I've ever been in my life is confused. I don't need more complications. That's why I left.

Svulkaine looked at the boy's back.

"Where ya goin'?"

"Aren't we headed back to the school?" asked Blake.

Svulkaine nodded.

"Yeah, but it's that way..."

He pointed, moving towards the verge of the forest again.

Still flustered Blake angrilly turned and started to follow Svulkaine. "So what exactly does this mean for me?" Blake wanted to change the subject and after what Mr. V had said he was curious.

Svulkaine chuckled.

"Oh, you mean this..."

He raised a finger, and Blake's entire body would pull towards him. Well, specifically the blood.

"All of your blood has been devoured by my mutated cells. Basically, you're like one of my limbs now."

He grinned.

"On the bright side, that means I can heal you whenever you're around me, but on the bad side..."

He tried pulling Blake up to his body, and putting his hands on his chest.

"It means that I can do whatever I want with you."

He winked.

Blake's eyes widened as his body moved without him telling it to. And when Svulkaine pulled him close and touched his chest he blushed. His blushed deepend when Svulkaine winked at him.
I've blushed more these past few days than I have in my whole life. thought Blake. As the weight of what Svulkaine said started to seep deeper into Blake's mind, he became angry.
"You can't just do what you want like that! I won't let you!" Yelled Blake as he tried to struggle and get away.

He looked at the boy.

"You have no idea... My name is Svulkaine, and I am chaos."

He cackled.

"The world runs by my watch, though you won't always see it."

Admiring him Blake still tried to get away and said, "You. Are Crazy." as calmly (though traced with anger and embarresment) as he could.

Svulkaine grinned, flicking his fingers up.

"Glad you noticed. It's the sane ones that will kill you."


A spike of blood attempted to shoot its way through Blake's arm.


"The crazy ones will flay you alive."

Trying to keep the yell of pain in his throat as Blake's own blood turned against him he glared at Svulkaine and tried to think of ways he could get back at him for this.

Svulkaine noticed the familiar glare of a chained soul.

"Try as you might, you've fallen into the spider's web, boy."

He grinned wildly.

"You're mine..."

"I am not yours in mind at least." Said Blake with a small smirk. Trying to find the comical side in this somewhere Blake had to marvel at the mess his life was and has become, even chuckling to himself at how rediculous everything was now.

"Huh... Maybe I should break you, then..."

Svul chuckled.

"That could be fun..."

Stopping what he was doing Blake looked at Svulkaine and was silent for a moment before luaghing out loud.

Blake's blood tried to cut off his tongue.

"You'll get that back when you're a good boy." Svulkaine laughed.

Unable to make a sound Blake glared once again at Svulkaine. Fine. Don't wanna talk to you anyway. He thought.

He sighed, attempting to stop Blake's bloodflow.

"Poor little lost pup..."

Blake would likely find himself suffocating and also having a feeling like a heart attack, not to mention the onset of an aneurism simultaneously.

"You shouldn't have come here."

Blake instantly stopped moving and fell to the ground in pain. He knew it was Svulkaine.
but he wouldn't actually kill me...would he?!

Svulkaine narrowed his eyes, patiently watching her silent pain.

He grinned, waiting for her bodily functions to start to shut down... The adrenaline of death was the best part.

Once that happened, he'd speed up the blood to twice it's normal rate, giving her an insane adrenal high and probably literally blowing her mind.

Blake felt life slowly start to leave him. Wishing he could change so many things but knowing his death only confirmed what he already knew. Nothing could change. Nothing will change.
